Groom’s Buttonhole

Corsages
Mothers of the bride and groom traditionally wear a corsage that either matches the colour scheme, the bridal bouquet or even their own outfit.

Bridesmaid Flowers
A smaller version of the brides bouquet or containing some of the flowers in the bridal arrangement or provide a contrast with the same flowers in a different shade, or go with something different, a wrist corsage.

Flower girls
A basket or a pomander of flowers. Basket of rose petals to scatter. A wand.

Ceremony Arrangements
From pedestal arrangements of mixed flowers and foliage at the entrance and at the front of the ceremony venue, pew ends or rows of chairs to alter arrangements or ceremony table arrangements.

Reception Arrangements
Many couples arrange for their ceremony pedestals to be moved to their reception venue to save money. Please discuss this with ceremony venue before hand. It’s traditional to have table arrangements. These can vary from usual candle and flower oasis centrepieces to tall lily vases to goldfish bowls to candelabras, all can be dressed with mirrors, tea lights, confetti etc. The top table arrangement can either be a long version of the other centrepieces, which can stretch the length of the table or two or three separate arrangements. Getting your table decoration right can really help to enhance the mood of your reception.

Cake Flowers
Decorate the cake with flowers featured either in the brides bouquet or in the table arrangements.

Gifts
It's traditional to present the mothers of the bride and groom with a bouquet of flowers as a thank you for all their help and support planning the wedding.
